The Old Mill Killearn has a rustic ambience, with a modern twist. Within the pretty rural Stirlingshire village of Killearn, this gastropub is within reach of Loch Lomond and close to Glengoyne Distillery. The 18th century former weaving mill retains the old world charm with an open fire, but has had a facelift to ensure a comfortable, relaxed and contemporary feel.

The brand development was rolled out in conjunction with the delivery of the new website. The exciting new renovation works across the bar and restaurant of the Old Mill in conjunction with its reknowned atmosphere and high quality, responsibly sourced Scottish produce presented CGH Creative with the opportunity to explore a contemporary twist on a classical design  treatment for the small village gastro pub.

A selection of traditional serif typeface interacting with a letterspaced modern font, muted olive and cool grey colour templates and an understated illustrations technique delivered a sophisticated creative approach whilst echoing the traditions of the traditional village public house.
